Ah, I understand just by watching! But I can only apply this technique through SAI... are you using CS5??
I have CS2 but what made me thought it was CS5 was because the functions look similar to the one I used in college,
haha, my professor actually scold me for only having CS2 xD

Yes, because it takes less effort to erase the color blocks than the lines.
(I only started doing this recently though)

when you draw something do you have spontaneus ideas or do you have a list in youre mind what you wanna draw or how do oyu make it?

I'll have an idea about the whole picture, not a list really, but some idea about what I want to achieve in this painting.
I'll start drawing until at least Something is in my mind
