There are a million things I should be working on besides drawing the Doctor in a very silly hat. But... I just... couldn't... help myself.Way to rain on the ridiculous hat parade Amy, GEEZE. Although he looks a lot less silly than I thought he would. I mean, the hat is RIDICULOUS. But he kind of pulls it off.
Like a lost member of an underfunded mariachi band.
Also - dude Matt Smith has a weird face(that i'm now a little in love with). I kindof obsessed over it, and it still doesn't look right.
Aaaaand.... because i have to say it OMG SATURDAY NEW EPISODEfffffffft.

But I LOVE this... so very well done!! For him having such an interesting face shape, he must have been very hard to draw, yet you did it so very well!

Oh my god I hated Matt's face for the longest time, and then I loved it XD And now I hate it again after hours of trying to draw him. It's impossible. He's still adorable, though.
But yes, than man can pull of any hat he damn well pleases. I mean, very few other people could look that hot in a bow tie and suspenders, amirite?

Tell me about it. It's true with anything, actually. I temporarily hated all things typography after slaving for hours over a typography portrait. It turned out nice, though.

Okay, Matt Smith can officially pull of any freakin' hat he likes. No one else could look that good in a sombrero.
He does have a weird sort of potato-ish face, which bothered me in the beginning, but it's really sort of endearing.

I always thought of it as a potato face myself. But I've been having fun hearing the other things people compare it to - a shoe - one of those easter island heads - etc.
... but it does grow on you for some reason. Now I think its adorable. Still a potatoface, but an adorable one.
