yes apparently so. poor Link. I remember when pokemon first came out and then the game following shortly after and I kept seeing art of Link getting pwned by Pikachu T_T at least now I don't see it as much. here they are getting away from them XD

When I was younger, I drew some comic series called Link, the Annoyance Slayer, which eventually turned into a fanfic about Pikachu leading an organization of whatever I found annoying at the time in repeated attempts to conquer Hyrule, with Link, Zelda, and later Ganon fighting them off. I guess you could say this pic is a slight nod to that.
But yeah, I've drawn plenty of pictures of Link killing Pikachu in horribly violent manners in my youth.
