Description
This was a character who was originally drafted for someone who ultimately didn't want her back in 2016 that I redrew this year because I didn't like the anatomy in her old ref sheet!Her concept is that she is an 'Unrefined' and Base 'Beta' Quartz as an experiment by White Diamond to make the ultimate Quartz Soldiers. She is highly unstable because of this and is only let 'loose' of White's control in instances where she's needed to attack. If left unchecked, her mercurial power begins to have 'Atrophic Feedback' and her Hardlight Form becomes unstable and volatile.
Despite her instability, when Beta is calm and in a 'safe' environment, she is rather quiet and reserved, though absolutely curious about the Universe beyond Homeworld.
I love her a lot, I'm kind of glad the person I developed her for didn't want the design when all was said and done, because she found a good and loving home with me <3
