I am a brony, but also a die-hard Streets of Rage fan. Seeing as how Streets of Rage characters and ponies somehow seem to go real well together I really wanted to draw this.
Everyone loves Fancypants, cuz following the idea that Blueblood made everybody think that high-class ponies were all assholes, Fancypants set an example to the contrary. But despite his charisma, I much rather like the idea of Fancypants as someone who also has dark connections. I mean, he IS the most important pony in Canterlot right? Given how close he is to Fleur, I would have put her as Shiva. But she doesn't have the kind of class that seems to resonate with Octavia, so I used her instead.
