Description

I drew my OC's older designs in my current style so we can properly compare them without being biased on how my drawings or style looked at the time. Also do note that some of the years dated aren't very accurate as it says on artwork because I feel like I've drawn these characters a year or two before the first mentioned date. Also, these three characters are students, so I will mention school status and reputation. Anyways, lets begin.

○ 2011 ○

Already from this, you can tell that I did not know how to make my characters look unique. Most sonic fan characters would have hair/crazy colours to add to their colour scheme but nope, he was just a plaaaain rabbit with red fur with barely any cool design to him. So yep. :') Although he looks super plain and very boring to me right now, little Jasaki was proud of his design, especially since he is my first character ever.

◇ 2012 ◇

Surprisingly, a year later(if the first designs were indeed made in 2011), little Jasaki realized "Hey, my sonic characters look reaaallly boring. Let me fix that." So I did. I gave a hair style to Ben, gave him clothes and some pants but kept his original gloves and shoes. Personally, right now I find his hair ugly. I haaate it right now but for some reason other artists who drew him for me made his hair look amazing so thank you for that other artists :')) I probably just hated how his hair looked in my style. At this point of his design, I gave him a straight forward and (healthy) confident personality. He was Brownie's best friend and a good friend with Flames who is a popular kid, so he holds a decent reputation in school.

☆ 2015 ☆

I threw away the previous hairstyle on Ben because I hated it and gave him a plainer design as he has the reputation of being a plain/boring kid in his school. He has a more "timid" look in his eyes, he starts off not knowing Brownie and not having any relation with Flames until later on. He has little friends and has grown up having hard time to bond with people other than family members. Which explains his shyness. I removed his pants because I thought of how male sonic characters don't really need pants so yep. Goodbye pants. I also made his shirt colour different and changed his shoe colours as well, I actually hate his shoes but have no redesign for it right now so you have this garbage for now.

I don't plan on ever changing their designs back to the previous one, that does not mean that I will not redesign them anymore. There are still things that may not satisfy me with their current design so don't be surprised if I make a redesign later on. : )
