Vitani walked along the borders of the Prideland, sniffing in vain for any scent of prey. The sun burned so hot. And, of course, in such heat, all the animals hid deeper in the lands of the pride, moving away from the wastelands. The lioness's mouth was dry, her thoughts confused, as if they were also withered from the sun.
Suddenly, right above the ear, there was a rustle of tiny wings. Two light butterflies bumped into Vitani's cheek, recoiled and returned to their movement, playing with each other.

“Ugh, in the midst of a drought, are you serious?!"
Vitani looked at the troublemakers with displeasure and shook her head.
- Come on, who needs this love anyway? All day to dangle and die under the scorching sun in pursuit of your "happiness", pfft. I'd rather feed myself to the crocodiles, - she muttered, starting to descend to the bed of the shallowed river.
