Cardistry was a term created by Richard Zadorozny around 2005/2006. Unlike its predecessor, it was let loose in the wild and immediately gained likeability and saw usage as opposed to being shoved down people's throats. The popularity of Cardistry was the effort on behalf of all communities and their respective artists as opposed to the effort of one individual.
