In the central desert of the main island lurks the beast for which these islands are named, a great wingless wyrm named Nimehe. Reproducing parthenogenically, she is constantly laying eggs and guarding a clutch. Her young lurk and skulk about the islands, harassing and attacking all who visit. Only the most clever and quick survive on these islands.
