Haha yeah, a really long time ago they showed it on ZeldaUniverse for a Hero contest winner (or something along those lines), and I just thought, "that would be the most epic profile pic ever" and I began using it for just about everything. ^^ Don't worry, I've never taken credit for it or anything. (Speaking of which, I guess I still need to figure out an icon for this site that isn't stealing from someone 
Yeah, I can assure you that there aren't many other artists on this site that put the effort into their work like you do. I'd go as far as saying you're my favorite Zelda-related artist on Deviantart. ^^ Call me your #1 fan, I suppose. ^^

And that's okay! I honestly don't mind if people use my artworks as icons on other sites, but I am a bit touchy if it's used on DA. But if it's on forums, it's fine by me.

That's perfectly fine. Do you have any recommendations for as to what I should make my icon? I can only think it right to make my own on DA rather than some random image on the internet. Suggestions?

Nah you're not.
The DA icon that I have now is Link based off the Super Smash Bros Brawl Cover. The artwork on the box is universal, so it's fine to use. I honestly don't like using my own art as my avatars, so I use official illustrations instead. It all comes down to personal taste really.

A commission is where you pay the specific artist to draw something for you. Artists who do commissions would have a commission faq somewhere on the prices that they charge on their artworks such as the size, media used, category etc.

I've done commissions in the past, but I've stopped doing them for some time since I'm really busy these days.
Oh they don't ask me how much they would pay it for. I charge them the price first to see if we both come to an agreement.
