I think because of the blue being the "corruption" part of him - I can't help but think he got into a scuffle with Samus during Metriod Prime 3 and got a little contagion

You know, I think you have to be a bit of a villain to be the hero. I like this interpretation of the drawing. I think you did a wonderful job on it. Dark vs. Light, might just be how heroes are made after all, both light and dark. Both feared and respected. I don't know, that's just my thought when I think of being both.
Amazing artwork like usual. I like the colors that you did and how Link looks so...serious. I didn't think that he looked so evil that he didn't have a lot of light, but he looked dark enough to have the feeling that he probably has a dark side hiding. I like the background, it really enhances the character.
I do want to nitpick at one thing. The triforce is upside down. I like the arm, but maybe if you put some of the detail in the face on the same side it would have been good. Not a whole lot where it sacrifices the art, but just small, faded lines that look like scars. God knows he's been beaten up enough so people wouldn't really look twice.
All in all I like it a lot and I hope you continue your wonderful art!

My oh my I didn't even realise that! I guess I was paying too much attention on how the viewer would see it instead of Link's perspective.
I might fix it soon, but it doesn't seem too much of a big deal to edit it asap.
