I drew this picture a few months ago and completely forgot about it!I happen to find it under my bed and decided to post it up here.
This is a sketch drawing of Link and Navi. I guess you could say that he is seeking support from his only fairy friend in his Ocarina of Time adventure.

personally I never found Navi annoying, infact her cute "Hey! Listen! Watchout! made me squee <3 X3 I like this image alot, for once I find one where Link doesn't look like he wants to pull out the flyswatter X3 this is cute!

If you read the artist's description, I used a 0.5 HB mechanical pencil on some average A4 sketch paper. The texture was applied to the artwork digitally.

I was almost in tears when she and him parted ways after Link returned the Master Sword once and for all. Saying goodbye to a close friend like that would have been extremely hard for the two of them...
Now I'm inspired to do an artwork based on that.

It was a different story in TP when Midna left back to her rightful place. He was heart-broken by it as you saw it in his eyes. But I can understand from OoT's point of view (with the limited graphics). Hopefully that will change in the 3DS version!

Man, at the end of TP I was trying so hard not to cry. Midnaaa ahskjfdasd. But yeah, for such limited graphics, Nintendo certainly did a good job of conveying how the characters were feeling in OoT and MM. Eek, can't wait for the 3DS version. I wonder how much they'll change...
Alright! Speaking of other projects... I've been putting one off since the beginning of the summer that's due by the 30th. Whoops :S Have you ever tried drawing a picture, but no matter how many times you redraw it, you can't get it right? I think I'm taking the wrong approach...

Yeah me too! I'm guessing that it will be another heart-wrenching ending. XD
I have the same problems as you when I approach to a new artwork. But to overpass it, I sketch ideas out really roughly on some scrap paper to have a better idea of what it will look like in it's final rendered piece. After the sketch, I begin to copy the idea on better quality paper where I use paint.
I find that if you paint and stuff before sketching, it will never come out as good as you hoped. Planning through sketches first is best.
