Actually, Tanya's dad was the Ambassador to Edenia. In MKD, she too referred herself as an ambassador.

Just saw the speed paint of this. Be nice if NRS actually treated their characters with better respect, but come on, why did they have to change her look. Im with you in one of your older comments. If anything The older characters, ESTABLISHED characters should come in before flavor and spin-off characters. Though im more mad at the fact DLC is already established, and ready before the game is even out. That's being nickeled and dimed for something that should've been there since the get go :/

I'm pissed they put Tanya of all people in the Kombat Pack. But Tremor MORE than makes up for it.
But, despite my personal dislike for Tanya, I AM glad that you got one of your favorites (actually both of them, now that I think about it).

You know what? I'm pissed that MK is having fanservice guest characters that don't need to be in the game, yet and still all the fans of both horror characters, love having their dicks shoved in their asses because omgergawd Jason and Predator!
Tanya needs to be in MKX for reasons... Tremor appeared in ONE spinoff game and that was Special Forces, yet and still fans want to shit on other MK characters for making an appearance in the Kombat Pack. Its tiring. You don't have to play as Tanya, just like I don't have to play Tremor or any other bullshit guest character.

Tanya... doesn't really need to be there. Her whole point around this time was to betray Edenia to Shinnok... but there is no Edenia to betray. As far as we know, it's still fused with Outworld. And even if she does betray it, who's honestly going to care? Sindel? Dead. Kitana? Dead (at that point). Jade? Dead. Jerrod? Still stuck in Ermac. Mileena? That's laughable. Seriously, no one is going to care if some chick betrays them. I think she's only there because she was part of the MK4 story line, and every new character at that point as appeared somewhere. Plus she's named after Boon's sister, so.
Sure, Tremor was in the SHITTIEST MK game ever, but I still want to see what he's got. Never played SF (thank GOD) so I'm curious. And hey, at least these are DLC characters. They have (probably) zero impact on the story. Plus, Tanya's your girl. I'm happy for ya. She could have easily gone the way of Jade.
I don't have to play her. But I will. I play everyone. It's more fun that way.

...I'm not angry, so don't say that just because of how the words sounded in that paragraph. It irks me when people assume someone is upset by an array of words when its just a civilized statement. I forgot that you can't say anything on the Internet without someone taking it to another level.
Not reading the rest, but fans are never pleased with anything even if the devs DO give them what they want. My thing is just because the characters fit does not mean they belong... NR is catering to fanservice which Boon himself said they weren't going to do with MKX. At this point I don't believe anything he says at this point. I mean, if they feel that the game will sell GTA V numbers first day by shelling out all this DLC and Kollector's editions, then that's their goal, but I'm used to everything being, well...MK.

bad news: she looks less attractive than her MK4 or Deception
