I've heard stories on heartbreak...How one person has the power to destory you.
Just one flip of the switch,
And you're falling, heart and mind feeling rue.
You drop down to the bottom.
To a dark, cold, scary place.
You kick and you scream,
Trying to find that one familiar face.
Hands grab your arms, pulling you under.
You try to fight them down
As they push and pull you.
You're now in the undertow, ready to drown.
You can't draw in a breath.
The fear and anger fill your lungs, preventing your screams.
Your eyes fill with tears,
And steadily they slide down your cheeks in streams.
It's eerily silent now.
You're finally in the underground.
You want to stay there,
But you also want to turn it all back around.
Then you begin to ask yourself:
But should I write it all off?
