The Dark Elves, despite their outward appearance, are generally more amiable and mild-mannered than their High Elf cousins. This is probably due to their acceptance and integration of some of the more "depressing" aspects of life in a shattered realm. Though many of their rituals and customs seem to border on necromancy to outsiders, they worship death not as a god, but as the punctuation at the end of a life well lived...

"We're all going to die some day and death for us is the most sublime experience in life. We spend our lives preparing for our eventual deaths and rejoicing in each moment that we live. Why do our cousins waste so much time lamenting that which has long since past?"
