Now you said you draw with pen then scan it in right? I used sharpe but I don't know why I bothered because I don't like it anyway to the point, I am having a hard time finding the right pen to Ink my work with before the scanning. Do you have any suggestions?

I just use regular inkpens of different sizes

I know its your choice on what pens you used. I know you didn't use sharpes. Their terrible pencils you could see the fuzzys for a mile away!
Perhaps you used a pilot 7 pen? I really love the crispyness of those! (or perhaps any cheep fountain pen or pen with that kind of ink coming out of it. I love those 2)
