I did this illustration just for fun in 2009. According to Deviantart this is my second most viewed and liked artwork. Itβs very interesting, because itβs a quite simple piece in terms of composition and rendering, but it has been much more successful than other pieces in which I spent much more time, adding many details, looking for a more realistic render, etc...Related content

I love this. The design is very smooth and easy on the eyes, and the harmonizing colors really compliment the subject matter.

I'm usually the type of person that gets fussy when it comes to the way artists handle spacesuits (among other things). They'd look better when a sense of aesthetics is used in design rather than deriving SLIGHTLY from reality.
In other words I'd gladly take appeal over realism ANYTIME in art direction.
It goes without saying but I really love the way you designed her spacesuit.
