n00b. its not animated... this is a 3d pic.. that means it is generated.... you make some geometry in a virtual 3D space... in beginning it looks all grey. then you make textures (pics who look like materials.. wood or metal i.e. then you put it on that geometry and put lightsources in the 3d- space. the computer does the rest. calculated shaddows.. light and so on.

not. animated = animus=life, animera = moving living breating.
a stil render does not breath not move and not life thats why it is a stil.. frozen. believe better to elarn it now! you will see there is a big difference. those differences are important otherwise we could not see differences. the more differences in things the easier it is to classify. otherwise all art would be a monoton grey clay.

My only real critique I could give it is that the books in the corner look brand spanking new, which conflicts the picture, in my opinion. Perhaps adding some dust on them could bring it together?
