I morphed my Dragon character Chatadar into a sea-creature recently. And here we have her just after she's surfaced for some air.Dolphins and whales like to travel along behind her because she's so big she scares all the sharks and other beasties away that'd otherwise try to eat them. Chat' however doesn't like the taste of dolphins or whales (unless they're dead. Don't ask). She prefers Giant Squid, Sharks, Giant Sunfish and Bluefin Tuna, as well as the occasional sea-serpent. She's not beyond attacking fishing boats or whaling ships either.

I love the sea-creature and the way you did the water, but over all I think the thing that brings the whole picture together is the cloudy sky- idk? (I have a fetish for clouds/rain and such-heh-) It makes the whole scene intimidating- which is superb!

Deep sea creatures freak me out, and this one really scares me. If it were in a movie or something I'd probably pass out or something dumb like that. But while it scares me I also am in utter amazement, all this rambling just to say good job and worthy of a fav

Mmmm gorgeous. This sort of thing really kinda fascinates and intimidates me 'cause I have a fear of deep or dark water. So I get a strange vibe from it but it is a wonderfully executed piece and your attention to detail is phenomenal.

Good lord, you certinaly know what you are doing when you 'paint' water and how to create a wonderful and believeable background. Chatadar looks badass in aquatic form. Very prehistoric-esque!
The atmosphere is very real in this picture. I think its the sublte things like the 'fading' of her tail in the water, and the whales and dolphins. Amazing picture.
I know you have critique discouraged, but there is one thing I must ask. Are those gulls in the foreground, because they appear a little to large in comparison to the whales and dolphins. Or are they creations of yours as well, and are just very large any way?
Please don't hurt me, this picture is so brilliant. That thing I mentioned does not take away from the image what-so-ever. I just happened to notice by chance ^_^
