That's really cleaver. You can't really tell at first glance if the dolphin is looking to the surface of the water from under or above the water line. Nice one.

They see their reflection and understand. They did some studies a while aback. Most dolphins are self aware.
It means they can think in terms of "I"

It reminds me of one of the original Ecco the Dolphin games, where you rush up to a certain point, and speak to a mirror image of yourself. It even has that sense of solidity, like its hitting its nose against the reflection.
