I like the mosses Jaxx! Also, that owl, really makes me think about (Very hard to spell.) Kaporea Gaoreba, the huge, helpful owl in TLOZ: OOT.

wonderful painting.
You did a really great job on the "pose" of the tree, like it's branches.
You did a fabulous job of bringing the foreground to life, and adding a mysterious depth to the picture with the background! The green colors is very well painted, sure looks like theres growing things. You added a great depth to the bird and the green colors too.
The detailed job on the owls wings and other feathers is very pretty, you really got it down good. Its a very cute owl.
Great job!

omg! ^^ This totally reminds me of the Olympic Rainforest!! ^^ The trees were completely covered and moss and it was all really pretty like this! ^^ Such a cute little owl perched on the branch. Looks like he's on the look out for some mice

Even though by your critique setting it seems you want no comments I still have to say something about such a great piece of art. Very realistic and beatifully rendered, this illustration really pleases the eyes. Again.. just ignore what others say that may offend you because you're better than that. Keep doing things that please your interests and if other people like your work it's only another plus. Please continue creating these wonderful images because I know that real fans will always appreciate your works.

It's always really hard to make moss look right when you're doing it digitally, but I have to say that you did a remarkable job on it! I love how you used a lot of different shades of green instead of just one and darkening and lightening it like some people do.
And that owl is just adorable.
Amazing job! This definetely deserves a fave!

I love the detailing and the colours you've used, and how you've made the moss really very colourful as a contrast to the grey owl. Great work.

This is beautiful.. I love old-growth forest/ancient mossy forest kinda scenes... always seems very serene, and quiet.. like a place where you could take a nap, or get a lot of work done with little distraction.. X3 beautiful work

On the one hand, you make me want to commit seppukku because I am not nearly as good as you.
On the other hand, it makes me also want to madly practice and get better. *idiotic grin*
Either way, so beautiful and misty!
