you draw them, in a way that makes me think they must be real

You've achieved a lot of depth in your middleground and background, but your foreground is a bit flat. If you could capture what you did in the background with color and depth of field and put it into that tree you would have a very dynamic piece. Fore instance, blur the top edge of the tree and sharpen and highlight the midsection. That might more dept to the tree itself.

I haven't been open to commissions for quite a while acutally.. I even went so far as to take my price list down. :/
With all the b.s. I've been dealing with... Like prepairing for the coming eviction in October plus trying to get U.E. or a job, as well as a passport, and all the family issues.... things have been way to nuts to be doing commission work for people. I wasn't planing on doing commissions anymore actually... to much stress.
Mind you, if and when I do get the time, I'd consider making an acception for you. Since you rock and all...
