Description
This is a pinup digital painting I did as part of Udon's VENT book which was submitted along with some other images. I was told I could paint whatever I wanted so long as it was my own, so I painted this. Factories and gas masks, big surprise! Had fun with it, and treated it more like a painting.This image in the book features a short tutorial on how I approached and painted it.

If you stop and really look at this thing, you can appreciate just how intense this piece is, between the details and the color work, i'm leveled at how advanced this is! you create more works on this level and you can quit your day job!

Love it. This is a pretty big departure texture-wise from what I've seen you do before. It's hugely successful I think. Really looks like some kind of watercolor/oil hybrid.

Thanks, man. I've been doing a lot more straightu p digital painting lately, blending colours, leaving texture, etc. A lot of what I employed that into is under NDA still, but it is always fun to mix it up more.

Man the detailing in your work is almost inhuman sometimes.
Its got this kinda of a Urban Castlevania feel going, with the Statues and the red surreal background.
