Since I just made a new ref sheet for Sorreltail, and Poppyfrost is supposed to look very similar to her mother, I decided to make a new sheet for Poppyfrost as well. I was rather lazy and just used Sorreltail's lineart with very few changes, but I tried to make Poppyfrost's design interesting and distinctive while still being recognizably similar to her mother's.

Like I said, I pretty much just used Sorreltail's lineart for her, since she's supposed to look so similar to her mother. The rest of Sorreltail and Brackenfur's kits have more of a mix of their parents' traits, but Poppyfrost is almost exclusively similar to her mother in looks, in my view. The only thing she really gets from her father build-wise is a smaller muzzle than Sorreltail's. She has different scars and ear notches from her mother as well, obviously.

Poppyfrost's supposed to look like her mother, but she's also described as a pale tortie, so I lightened her colors. Her colors are a lighter version of her mother's colors, for the most part. Her main fur, stripe, and belly colors are lighter and redder shades of her mother's colors, and the gray on her pelt is a lighter and browner shade of her mother's black fur. Her nose is a darker and less saturated shade than her mother's, since she has darker fur surrounding her nose than her mother does. Her ear color is a darker version of her mother's, and her scars are lighter than her mother's. The only color she gets from her father are her eyes, which are the exact same shade of amber as Brackenfur's, rather than being Sorreltail's shade of amber. I wanted her to have at least something from him.

She's not that different from Sorreltail, but I'm still pretty happy with her design. Don't worry, Honeyfern will have more of her father in her when I get to design her, and she'll have a good mix of her parents' features, as well as probably having new lineart.
