Kinda interesting yet disturbing that so long ago in that universe's time line, these creatures would literally roam the galaxy, enslaving and indoctrinating other beings because they can, and had the power. Then the other beings had to build robotic versions of the Leviathans to fight them off, only the machines got a little overzealous and started harvesting their masters so they could "be preserved" in their rawest form...
