Description
This started up as a Lazengan pic but I ended up adding Gurren Lagaan too . Turned out pretty good from what I was initially expecting. Hope you like it!Related content

Thank you for the constructive crit. I really appreciate it! The characters are from an Anime called Gurren Lagaan.
Now that I look at it you totally right about the BG being out of perspective. I'm not too good with perspective but thats the reason I experimented it in this pic. I will make the changes soon. The second is basically the mech design & it's my first try at drawing him and at totally awkward angle.
Pics can be found here.

First off, nice picture. Not familiar with the characters myself, but they look really cool and look like you captured them well (from what I can tell). I also really like the dynamic colors, action, and angle. Very good work!
One thing that gets me a little is the background. While the floor is wonderfully in perspective with the black mecha, the rest of the background doesn't quite line up. The lines along the side should be receding towards the same point as the floor, not going parallel to it.
Another thing is that the shoulder we are looking over appears quite cluttered, and it is hard to "read," if you will. We can easily tell it is a shoulder from the head, but other than that, it is slightly confusing what is going on there. This may simply be the complexity of the character's design though, I really don't know.
The final thing is that the arm of the charging mecha appears a bit wonky at his left elbow. It simply appears to be tilted at an off angle and just needs to be rotated.
Other than these issues, the picture really is great. I am especially impressed with the posture of the charging mecha and the camera angle. I know from experience that foreshortening is incredibly difficult, but you appear to have nailed it in this image. Again, good work, and thanks for sharing!
