Let's talk a bit about referencing today. Although I don't heavily depend on this, I think every upcoming artist who wants to improve their skills should use this method when the start. If you can't find references for a pose you want online. With modern day smartphone cameras it's easier than ever.
Referencing allows you to avoid anatomical errors many when you are drawing arms and hands or more complex poses where it is harder to imagine the motion. However please do not mistake referencing for tracing, I try not to trace the pose but rather redraw it based on the original image, chase tracing won't really help you grow as an artist unless there are times you have to depend on rotoscoping for animation.
