Background:
Catherine was nothing more than a hard working office woman at the prestigious Atlas Industries, when she wandered too far into the facility, and tagged by a mysterious creature. This creature was a living organism of metallic nature, and it bonded to her body, linking the two forever. Dubbing this creature The Blue, and being inspired to begin fighting crime under an alter ego by other heroes like Red Siren, Cobalt debuted as one of the Guardian Angels of Siren City. However, she quickly became taken aback by the uncertainty and chaos that this lifestyle involved.

Breaking away from her team, and starting in a new city with Ash, she has begun to try to make sense of the world of superheroes, though she doubts she'll get much help there.

Cobalt and the blue have a symbiotic relationship, able to cover entire body in the liquid metal, she becomes virtually indestructible and resistant to intense heat. She can even extend her reach of the blue, having it come off her body to reach beyond her own grasp, but to do this, she has to uncover a part of her body. She also can't swim, as the blue increases her weight greatly, and she can't part with it now. Magnets also are a great weakness to her.
