..In another way of looking at it, there's kind of a feel of freedom to it.. Like the bed has clearly been used, but the one who occupied it no longer needs it.. That can be taken in a dark or a light way, but for purposes, I kind of feel like this can be a happy picture, too. The person has healed and moved on, and this place of sickness is behind them.
Even if they have passed away, that they have moved beyond this pain can be seen as a happy thing...

we project our own emotions in a picture...and the same picture will one day come in resonance with our sadness, the other day with our hopes.

the whole building was really sad... part of it burned... but most impressive was the fact that the sheets remained on some beds when the hospital was abandonned

I can strongly relate to this because of my father. It's amazing how 'simple' shots can bring back so much to someone. Beautiful, thank you.

Oww. I am sorry. But in the same time, it's the function of art to create feelings, even if they are bad.

reminds me of the work of a famous LGBT artist during the AIDS pandemic - he did billboards of empty beds (with depressions as if people had been lying in them) to raise awareness of the severity of the issue.
