I'm doing a sketch a day for the whole year. The way it's organized is thatthere is a theme for each week and the sketch for those days will have to do
with that theme. The theme choices are random, but I often times try not to do
similar themes in consecutive weeks.
The theme for this week is "Pokemon." I was big on pokemon when I was a kid.
Not so much now, but I remember just loving it. Especially Pokemon: Pearl
when it first came out. That was my first pokemon game. So I decided that
I might as well draw a few pokemon that are either really well known or
have an impact on me personally.
The first pokemon game I ever got was Pokemon: Pearl, which means the signature
legendary was Palkia. I actually have a palkia in my old game: his name is Greatness,
because I was so relieved when I was finally able to acquire him. This guy is such
a champion really: he's like a creature from beyond this dimension that's come to
wreck the place up, and he does it in the most hardcore way. So I close out this
week with a legendary pokemon and perhaps one of my favorite too.
