Chapter 8: Martinet Engine

After facing the unknowable terror of the Kind Ones and their power, the newly named Bronz decides to try and sleep it off back at base. However her dreams would not offer the respite she had hoped for. Fortunately, the daily activities of martinets will offer enough distractions to draw her mind away from thoughts of dark gods and alien worlds.

We’re at the part in Chapter 8 where Bronz is back at work and so is Sacaryn. As it turns out, the workers aren’t the only people who have to watch their behavior. Especially when high ranking officials show up on the job…
