*gets on Soap Box*Ahem. I am a Kurt Nazi. I try not to push my thoughts and opinions on everyone but this has bothered me since I first got into Evo.
KURT. IS. NOT. AN. ANIMAL. He is a person. A MUTANT person, but a person.
I can let every other little thing that irks me slide but that's the one thing I could write a freakin' thesis on. LEAVE HIM HIS DIGNITY! I know he's got fur, fangs, a tail, and a tendancy to run on all fours but this doesn't mean he's gonna claw up your furniture, howl at the moon, or roll in dead things. He's NOT a pet and he's NOT a furry. He's just a very, very hairy kid.

Biologically, Kurt is an animal. He's a human being (erm, a mutated human, but a human nonetheless), therefore a primate, therefore a mammal, therefore a vetebrate, therefore AN ANIMAL!
People ARE animals. It's just a biological fact of life.
Though, technically, Kurt isn't even a living thing at all. He's a drawing. Nothing but a series of lines on a piece of paper arranged in a way to form the image of a person or humanoid being. And, unlike real animals (Like Kurt or other human beings), drawings don't eat, love, laugh, cry, have sex, or anything else that human beings do. Sure, there can be pictures of people doing such things, but that doesn't mean the pictures can actually perform such tasks.

What? I'm just saying that from a biological standpoint Kurt is an animal since human beings (and mutants in this case) are part of the animal kingdom. And, from a technical standpoint, he's simply a drawing. A cute drawing...but a drawing.
It just makes me laugh when someone says "people are not animals". Yes we are. We may not be dogs or cats or fish or whatever, but we're still animals. Sure, we don't go around sleeping in garbage and chewing up the furniture. But, we still have the same instincts as any other animal. IE: We eat when we're hungry, sleep when we're tired, defend ourselves when threatened, and our bodies have horomones that drive us to mate with the opposite sex so our genes can pass on to the next generation.

Dude, what is your deal? It's not about humans being animals it's about giving Kurt, a competent human being, the qualities of a house pet.
Maybe if you spent a little more time actually reading the artist's comments and a little less time trying to prove a frivolous point, you'd know what this picture is ACTUALLY about.
