After the destruction of Beacon Academy, Aero was left with two options: Return to his home in Solitas and attend Atlas Academy to continue his education as a Huntsman and be conscripted to the Atlesian Military, or participate in an investigation to find the truth about what happened to cause the fall of the place he had come to love.

Of course, he chose the latter. He wasn’t going to sit by and allow whoever perpetrated the Fall of Beacon to run off scot-free. Receiving a new set of clothes from his father and setting off with his team of friends from Beacon—Shade Crosshatch, Dahlia Aureus, and Siana Caelum—the four young warriors now travel across the world of Remnant to find the answers they all seek, now being reorganized from their original team acronym, to Team SHDS (Shadows).
