For the last few weeks I have been working like hell and couldn´t upload it earlier.This is the cover illustration for my comic "Tears of an Angel" which was published by Tokyopop Germany in December 2008. I got a permission from my former editor to submit it here. In case you wanted to know how it looked in colour... XD (´cause it was printed in b/w)
It was done with pencils, openCanvas4.5Plus, Photoshop7 and WACOM Intuos3. Took me about 3-5 days...

ahah, i bought it when it came out in Canada in french, and i totally liked it, and just today i read it for, what's it like 9th times, or more? anyway, still freaking good, and i still cry every time i read it XD

oh cool! ich hab den manga gelesen und mich wirklich gefragt wie das cover in bunt aussehen würde... das schwarz-weiße sieht im vergleich zu der bunten version echt düster aus, ich find es in bunt aber besser.
kannst du vielleicht auch mal bunte versionen von den kapitelcovern hochladen?

I especially love your color choices and your use of line and focus. my favorite thing probably has to be your use of square chain links instead of rounded (especially in the spiral pattern of movement); it provides wonderful contrast comparison to the softer, more natural form of the bodies and the wings.

Ich mag dieses Cover immer noch! Besonders in Farbe (auch wenns in diesen Blautönen besser zur Melancholie der Geschichte passt...).
Die Kette hat mich SO geflasht, als ich sie zum ersten Mal gesehen hab! Einfach perfekt!
Farblich gefallen mir die vielen verschiedenden, changierenden Farbreflexe bei den Flügeln am besten! °-° Echt ein tolles Cover!
