Was asked for my take on this wonderful piece of artwork by David Lima. This is what i came up with.
My lack of experience or formal training in inking led me to make certain choices with leaving things out as David's art is very much different levels of pencil shading rather than traditional hatching/feathering and im not really sure how to interprete that. The client ok'd this idea for the final piece and really liked the outcome.
Hope you all like it! Unfortunately I would asked people not to colour this at the moment, as i dont have the permission of the owner!

i think if you ask him you can get it colored and if he says ok I would love to color the inks for both of you guys. I often ask alot of my professional comic artist friends for chances to color and most of them are cool with it as long as the credits are there and the work isn't being sold without permission

Hey Brandy, I have asked via email (i think) but have had no response yet.
You could try contacting him yourself though - I think its ~fieldhockeyfan - He noted me once then everything else was by email, so you might have better luck than I.
If he says no worries, i'll make the DL available or email you. I would like to see it coloured also though but ultimately its not my decision

oh wait that isn't the artist, I have to ask the artist who did the line art and just a note for you, if you do inks then try to work directly with the artist and build up your skills and i am sure you will have work coming to you, but its not always wise to take on commissions from a 3rd party person if that person isn't the artist or working with the artist.

As far as Im aware ~fieldhockeyfan commissioned David Lima to do the art for him, so even though Lima is the artist, the artwork belongs to ~fieldhockeyfan to do with as he pleases.
At least thats my understanding of the process. I do work with alot of different artists in practice, but ultimately i need to please the client and fulfill thier needs.

Your picture sucks btw. Why it sucks? Because your hiding the nipples in a clever way. Hiding things in clever ways is not nice.
