Poison, one of the enemies in Final Fight and one of Capcom's most interesting characters. It's not really her personality or appearance that makes her so interesting though; It's her gender.

When Final Fight was released and it was being ported to home consoles (namely the SNES), Nintendo of America and some feminist groups had problems with the characters being able to hit the female Poison and Roxy (colorswap) enemies (Which is weird because Poison Kiss was in Mighty Final Fight for the NES and no one complained.).

To remedy this Capcom gave Nintendo the oddest response: Poison's a transsexual. This led on to a buttload of controversy and retcons on Poisons gender for years to come. She also became very popular due to this as well, cameoing in SvC Chaos, SFIII and was even going to be playable in the scrapped Capcom Fighting All-Stars.

With her appearing in SF X Tekken will her true gender be revealed?

Anyway, on to the sprite. The pose and colors on based on a "CvS" Poison sprite done by the spriter "Dampir" and her cinematic trailer in SF X T, but the sprite itself is original.
