Poster for a hypothetical 60s version of 'The Thing'; my final for my Horror Film history class.Wanted to base the design on the '3 red eyes and worm-like hair' description from John W. Campbell's original 'Who Goes There?' short story, with some inspiration from Roger Corman's Tomb of Ligeia poster [link] .
All brushed ink (minus the 'who goes there' text), scanned into Photoshop, 11" x 16".
