This of a profound statement on all wars. It summons up the frustriation, angush, pain, courage, love, hate, and extreme sadness that (I feel) come with being a soldier. (For the record I'm not one.) The emotion of the picture simply stabs me in the heart. If I were the kind to cry easily, it would bring a few tears to my eye (the war in Irraq being what it is). This photo should be displayed in the MoMA, New York, or another famous gallery, it certainly deserves it.
P.S. What is that the door to? I've seen it a coule of times.

Hah this is so great! I love pictures featuring people doing silly things around. The pose and expression here are priceless. Love the small detail of the writing on the door, too.. lol.. "Acthung Ficker am Werk" really adds something to the picture

I agree with the previous comments here, the colours and lighting really compliment the main focus point. It's vivid, and as mentioned before, very loud and "in your face" Well done, very interesting work, I like it!
