The 588th Drop Regiment Aka Night Angels were an all female Elite Drop Regiment hailing from hive world of Stalinium during the Great Crusade. They earned their name from their devastating night time drops into enemy rear encampments during the inter hive wars on their world proper to imperial compliance. They would infiltrate small teams of snipers and saboteurs using nearly silent grav gliders that just so happened to look like steel angel wings. They spread fear among the xenos and human enemies alike making it almost impossible for the enemy to sleep or take a step in the wrong direction.
