Description
A request by ~MASTERWARHERO of Krystal wearing her alternative costume in a perilous mission.Sorry for taking way too long with this one. This took a few tries to make it look good.

Gen. Peppy sent Star Fox to investigate the disappearance of a mining crew in the glowing depths of Macbeth. Tight choke points prevented the use of Arwings and Landmasters, so the team set out on foot to explore the expansive caverns. To make matters difficult, communication to the Great Fox was spotty and impossible at great depths.
The camps and outposts strewn through the network yielded ominous clues to the mining team's disappearance. As Fox was about to piece things together, large insect beings pounced from the shadows when the team least expected it. Forced out into the open, Fox and the team defended themselves against teeth, claw and spikes of their attackers. The insects caused an avalanche of boulders to fall forcing the team to scatter and find cover.
Krystal finds herself separated from the rest of the gang. She fights for her life only armed with her staff and a few supplies against the swarm. She can only hope she can reunite with her team before Star Fox becomes overwhelmed.

Very dynamic. They look like the Aparoids in a way. But these turn out to be more lethal so Krystal would need to be more careful this time around. Great work, bud. ^^

BTW, this year marks the 20th anniversary of the Starfox series. Let's hope that Shigeru Miyamoto(creator of the Starfox, Mario and Zelda series) does something for the series this year with an anniversary collection like how they did it so far with Mario, Zelda and Kirby before that this time around and hopefully that they reveal a new entry into the series at this year's E3 2013. I'm still pointing to the fact that it's very likely that Retro Studios are the ones who could be behind who has been working on it for some time now for as their latest Wii U project. Not to mention that it's one of the most demanded over the fans over the last 8 years to be on a major home console(not counting the ones for the 3DS and the DS)

I currently have very little knowledge of the subject of the development of the next installment. I haven't been keeping up with gaming news lately.
I have a feeling that once the Wii U has proven itself to be a more successful and accessible console, it would be more likely that a new Star Fox game will be on its way.

This is spectacular! The piece really has a really convincing sense of movement, and those water splashes look brilliant! On the topic of the water, that reflection of the insect is simply amazing.
