Description
The costume design in the Deadpool movie is probably the closest any comic book movie has come to ideally translating a look from the comics to the screen. They look like they belong on the big screen, but are recognizable and don't have too much busy detail going on. The reveal of Negasonic Teenage Warhead's X-Men uniform was a great moment, and I wanted to try making the black and yellow New Mutants-esque look for her. Used an Ultimate Spider-Woman as the base, with Silk's upper arms swapped in and the torso dremelled to fit the new arms. Sculpted the suit piping and bait the bootstraps from craft pleather. Took the head from Wasp. Yanked off the hair and resculpted it, sculpted on the nosering and earrings and repainted the head. Used a printout for the X-Men logo on her left shoulder.
