JEDIANN YOU'RE SO WEIRD AND SILLY AND ESTROGENY. X(Yeah, well.
Most of my Lurker Fanbase is female. I aim to please.
I think the only two accurate depictions of these two are Casual (NO ONE looks in Sandy's direction when Shadow's around. NO ONE) and Rivalry. Everything else is pretty much the first thing that pops into my head when I read the required theme.
Umm... wellokay, that's a lie. There are several others based on the comic, but I'm not telling which ones they are.

Though, I too enjoyed happy, as it seems to be the most canonically them.

Not really sure what the last one, "Needing," means. Anyway, my favorite is Rivalry, but only on an artistic level because I'm really digging the way you made the arms feel so close or so far away like that. Great stuff!

Gotta say panel marked "Happy" is my favorite one because it kinda depicts how youβre setting the interplay between the two characters up in the comicβas weird as that may sound. Sandy is a happy-go-lucky sort of character who sees a plus side to everything, and she wants to make others happy (even if that means forcing to literally have a smile on their face). Shadow on the other had is a cynical type of characterβwho looks like he is starting to reach the end of his patience with his fluffy counterpart.
Lord help! Iβm starting to analyze fictional characters again (sighs at self).
In any case, I really like the detailing youβve used on each panel. You can really see that you worked to really make each panel stand out on its own without depending on the others.

First- the Header! Crossing out the hearts is the best you can do, Shadow, but it aint gonna stop those who like you with Sandy from trying harder! >XD 
As for the panels, I find Happy adorable with the emotes added to them, especially Shadow's >8C cause the smile Sandy is putting on him actually makes him look quite dashing~
Sexy, Shy and Sophisticated; I cant really like how you put their relationship/connection under a better light. I love sophesticated cause I'm loving the way you drew them from behind, (her in that dress is sassy, him in that suit is pretty dang good lookin'
I also kinda like Shy, cause they don't look actually bashful, more so hesitant to make the first move, and I guess that's a type of shyness as well... I sure as heck cant see either of them getting flustered and stuttering type of shy, cause in the back of my mind I cant picture that as anything but OOC and awkward, 
Then comes PAIN... I'll just say I LOL's hard at that one. Oh, poor Sandy... I thought she learned how it wasn't a good idea to tackle (or bump) into the back of a hedgehog! >XD;; hopefully someone remembered to bring the tweezers... or the Swiss-knife... or or the tweezers in the Swiss-knife...

1.Sandy here looks sooo cute, Shadow does not aprove though
