Description
This one I had requests to do, after showing my pictures on "For Glorious Equestria".This is the only pony I made on A3 paper, rather, then A4.
I never liked Luna's necklace, so I changed it.
This one was hard... Her body was too dark for black paper (what was I thinking to start it that way!), the background was a nightmare to draw, and her mane drove me crazy!
But here she is, finally, and so many people told me, that it turned out well, that I have no choice, but to believe them ^_^

Szczerze powiedziawszy jestem w ogromnym szoku, jeśli chodzi o jego popularność. 11 grup, 251 ulubionych, 957 wyświetleń i 143 pobrania w 3 dni! Po prostu nie wiem co powiedzieć. To jest dziwne, bo to nawet nie jest mój ulubiony rysunek, ale może nie doceniam popularności samej Luny.

As Applebloom was borne towards them the great pillars rose
like towers to meet her. Giants they seemed to her,
vast grey figures silent but threatening.
Then she saw that they were indeed shaped and fashioned:
the craft and power of old had wrought upon them,
and they still preserved through the suns and rains
of forgotten years the mighty likenesses
in which they had been hewn.
Upon great pedestals founded in the deep waters
stood two great Alicorns of stone: still with blurred eyes
and crannied brows they frowned upon the North.
The left leg of each was raised hoof outwards
in gesture of warning; in each right hoof there was an axe;
upon each head there was a crumbling helm and crown.
Great power and majesty they still wore,
the silent wardens of a long-vanished kingdom.
Even Twilight bowed her head as the boats whirled by,
frail and fleeting as little leaves, under the enduring shadow
of the sentinels of Dream Valley.
So they passed into the dark chasm of the Gates.
"Fear not!" said a strange voice behind her.
Applebloom turned and saw Luna, and yet not Luna;
for the weather-worn Ranger was no longer there.
In the stern sat Luna, Daughter of Faust, proud and erect,
guiding the boat with skilful strokes; her hood was cast back,
and her dark mane was blowing in the wind, a light was in her eyes:
a Princess returning from exile to his own land.

Wow! I love Your poem! The way it's building, the style, the language (way, You called Luna the "Daughter of Faust" is just ingenious!).

This is great, it reminds me of pieces I've seen that are drawn with colored chalk on black paper. Is that what's going on here, and if so is there a specific name for this style? It's amazing!

Ah even better, I'm a big fan of crayons. I've tried finding a term for this style, I don't think there is. It makes searching for it rather difficult but when I find people good at it it makes it that much more enjoyable. Anyways, added you to my watch list, keep the amazing art coming please!

There are more crayons, then actual chalk, but yeah, that is something like that. As for the name for this style, I really don't know, maybe there is, but I'm not familiar with it.
I just like to call it: "I can't see my own pencil sketch on this black paper!" kinda style ^_^
