Rex Goldman, is the human partner of Optimus Prime and an ally of the Autobots of Team Prime. He is the same age as Jack Darby. He was hit by a meteor that was made of special gold Energon that gave him special powers, such as making special holochips for the Autobots of Team Prime that give them special holoforms that allows them to blend in with the human population, as well as allowing them to consume human foods and drinks that convert to Energon. He also programs the chips to make th Autobots holoforms to actually be actual human bodies and give them basic human emotions, senses, and pleasures. He develops feelings for Airachnid.
