I tilt my head. "Huh? What is it?" I seemed a little anxious.

"It's nothing," she said shrugging away the feeling. The look in her eyes seem to fade away. "I didn't really intend to scare you.."

"Huh? Then, what were you expecting to happen, then?" I ask.

"Not much..I guess." She then stretched. Then examined her teeth in the reflection of a nearby puddle of water. 'Why am I talking with a human?' She thought to herself.

"Are...you alright, there?" I was a little unsure of what was going on in her head.

'Why am I talking to him..when he really should be food..Why did I even let him out?' She growled in her mind. "I'm fine," Lilith replied still facing away from Ryan.

"If you want to.. and if you think I'll eat you again," she said, this time looking him in the eye. With another look in her eyes, far different from the one before.

I blink a few times. "Are you going to eat me again?" I seemed to be a little uncomfortable with the way she was acting.

"Hmm..I haven't decided yet.. maybe you should run now." She said with a slight smirk appearing on her face.

"P...Pardon?" I slowly stand up, backing away.

"I said..you should probably start running..or not, either is fine with me." She replied, the smirk still on her face.

I promptly turn and begin to run away. I did not want to find out why I was running.

Lilith hung back and watched him flee, then started to laugh. "Hopefully you'll find your way back to the trail before I get to you," as if it were a sign, her stomach began to let out a large growl.

I continue running away, back the way I came.

Lilith gets up to stretch again, then starts to follow his scent. "Oh well, just for the fun of it.." she said to herself, starting to pick up the pace.

Lilith started to eventually break out into a running pace, on all four, thinking that it would get her closer to her target.

Lilith kept her pace, and she didn't really know how much further she had to go to catch him.. but she was certain it wasn't that far. She almost thought she saw him in the distance.

I look back, still running along. I did not know what I was running for at this point, and I was starting to get tired.

The scent got stronger as Lilith kept her pace up. She then slowed to a trot, not wanting to tire herself out.

I began to slow down as well, unsure of if she was really following me.

The scent was at its peak of strength at this point and Lilith then purposely stepped on a small branch, hearing it echo throughout the terrain. She then crept low to the ground, trying her best not to make a sound.

I look back, quickening my pace a little. I was still not sure if she was following me.

Her ears perked a little, then she lifted her head up scanning the area around her. She then started to trot again. 'Almost there..' she told herself then she spotted him. She jumped out of the brush, a few good paces behind him and started to growl.

I quickly start running again, frightened by her sudden reappearance.

Lilith then broke out into a sprint. A look of determination came into her eyes, she kept her eyes trained on her target, teeth bared.

I run from her as fast as I can. However, I was only human; I could not run as fast as her.

Lilith gained ground quickly, growling. She then made a lunge for him.

I was unable to evade her. She landed on me, knocking me down.

She growled some more, showing her sharp fangs.

"H-Hey. Wh-What's the matter?" I push on her.

"I'm hungry now," she said giving away a little to the push, teeth still barred.

"I'm hungry!" She growled again, this time louder and she tried not to get pushed over.

I push hard on her. "N-No! Let me go!"

Lilith snapped her jaws closed right next to his neck barring her teeth some more.

I freeze up. "P-Please d-don't do this!" I plead.

Lilith opens her jaws and started to fiercely place his head into her mouth and tilt her head back again.

"N-Not like this!" I struggle frantically, grabbing at her shoulders.

Lilith continued to try to force him down. She was breathing heavily.

I push on her shoulders, continuing to struggle.

She then grabbed ahold of his arms and tried to shove them into her mouth, after resisting the push.

I do my best to resist her, grunting. "Let go of me!"

She licked his face, trying to create a distraction. "Accept your fate!" She growled firmly.

"L-Lilith?! What's wrong with you?!" I hold onto her shoulders.

"I'm hungry, duh!" She said again, then let go finally. 'Ok..this way isn't working out too well..' she thought to herself, then another idea crossed her mind.

Lilith made another lunge for him again, this time grabbing ahold of his feet. She then started to force him down, feet first.
