yeah definitely a lot of Tomb Raider influence in there. The idea behind the tattoos is that they're holy writings designed to ward off evil written different languages from many cultures. Basically anything to give her an edge over what shes going up against.

Interesting.
I was looking at the text and I think I saw cursive English, what I assume to be Latin (because of the letters in all caps) and ancient Greek, I presume.

I absolutely admire your ability to piece together these images and have them look so wonderfully cohesive. Your use of color and lighting... it all fits together so well. How much digital painting do you usually have to do to get everything to fit together, and how much of it is just careful blending and filtering?

Thank you! Its almost all meticulous blending of photos. I do very little painting, mostly for things such as shadows or color overlays

I like that... "bumping back" But I've drawn a blank as to the source of my line. Maybe even an episode of Buffy... A similar line was in Polanski's "Fearless Vampire Killers," when the recently turned innkeeper says to Polanski's character holding a crucifix, "Oy, have you got the wrong vampire..."
