Someone was asking me about the process I go through when creating an illustration. I don't normally document all of the stages, but here's a drawing I did for Goodman Games where I happened to keep scans of the initial rough sketch, the finished preliminary pencil art, and the final inked version.Related content

I need to relearn the art of the rough sketch. Nothing helps you find the right dynamic and spacing like a good rough thumbnail.
