Description
HistoryAlong the order of the A2 diesels passengers engines the company order some B-units from EMD and not from ALCO as they deem too expense to order oh they were wrong they order 50 units that only worked with EMD engines and not ALCO and were force to modified them or could return them back to EMD as they wanted their money back for some reason. The units were faulty with cooling and starting issues that was caused by bad wiring along with bad turbos and the company had to shell out for new wires only for the locomotives to have the issues both batches too so in 1970s, they had enough so they started withdrawing the B units and then the locomotives leaving no survivors left but one B unit that was convert into a generator unit for maintaining the track till it was scrapped in 1990s.
