A shame Ivan Ooze wasn't imported into the series, since he was the one who came closest to actually beating a Ranger team for once.
Command Center inoperative? Check.
Zordon helpless and near death? Check.
Ranger powers and Zords inaccessible? Check.
Pwn the current baddies? Check and check.
Turn all able-bodied parents into zombie slaves, leaving the children helpless and alone? Check...
The only thing he did wrong was he didn't follow through with pursuing the Rangers off-planet, and he didn't take the new Zords seriously until they killed one of his precious 10,000 year old CGI Ectomorphicons.

I was just reminiscing the old days when I watched Power Rangers and laughed about exposed muscle man, Lord Zedd. The drawing looks good.
