FINALLY, I FINISHED AURORA!!! This is by far my favorite out of all the ones I've done so far. It's a little darker than the others but I still like it. Originally, when I started drawing these Twisted Princesses, Aurora was going to be my last one, but since so many people seem to like them, I have 5 more princesses planned and then after that, who knows.Related content

Here's what I think happened. Maleficent killed her and brought her back to life as an immortal weapon with no memories. She used Aurora to kill Philip and her family. Then as they were dieing, Maleficent returned Aurora's memories to her. That's why she looks so sad.

She looks sad. It's like she was killed by Malephisent, turned into that and killed everyone she loved then got her memories back

My god, this is gorgeous and terrifying at the same time. I love how there's a sense of motion in the way the owl is perched on her hand - like he just landed or is just about to take off.

i think the story should be that the evil witch killed the prince..... so the fairies fled to see aurora, they tried to use their magic but failed for the dark magic was too great and strong. they soon went to see the evil witch (who had already taken over the thrown) and made a deal with her; the only way to bring her back to life was for aurora to be a slave and kill all the evil witches enimies. She took the deal and became her slave slautering throats and doing murderous deeds..... and the scars are the marks of numbers she had killed. The fairies accompany her and the great owl to prtects her. And the reason y she has mascara around her face is because she cries everytime she kills the good and innocent people for she is concious on the inside but not on the outside. so she forever roams around the world in her imortal body and soul..... Lol i think i put too much in it

i love how her eyes are scratched out, or at least appear to be, and how the owl takes her hand almost like a guide. its so hauntingly breathtaking, in a nightmarish sort of way. But the enjoyable kind of nightmare
